Premier Kathleen Wynne came to Kitchener to announce several major new infrastructure improvements including a $43 Million commitment to the new Regional Transit HUB as well as increased Go Train service to Toronto.  These announcements will help continue to propel Kitchener’s Innovation District as one of Canada’s best places to invest.

Google Grand Opening at the Breithaupt Block

Google opened their largest office in Canada with special guest, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in attendance to commemorate the occasion.  In addition to touring the building, the Prime Minister took part in a coding workshop with local school kids and spoke to the importance of technology in growing the Canadian economy and pointed at Kitchener-Waterloo as being on the cutting edge of the global economy.
