It took optimism and the wisdom of experience to see the potential in this dilapidated building on Waterloo’s Uptown core. Then it took hard work and design savvy to ensure its heritage qualities remained intact while we updated the structure and mechanicals. The result, on the ground floor, is high-quality retail space that has attracted well-loved (and expanding) food-and-beverage tenants. Upstairs, you’ll find a loft-style open-plan office with soaring ceilings, large arched windows, and exposed brick. Today the building anchors a block of historic structures that give character to this vibrant neighbourhood.
