In 2023, we took the Breithaupt Block to another level—literally. Our newest addition is an eleven-story LEED Gold tower that more than doubles the project’s capacity and beautifully counterbalances the low-slung mix of old and new that characterizes the project’s first two phases.
A small ‘forest’ of columns supports five levels of office space above it.
Built on what was once a parking lot, the structure boasts an office space that floats above a podium connected to the earlier buildings by a glass-and-steel bridge. Deep-set punched windows distinguish the podium from neighbouring buildings while the tower, set back from a nearby residential area, features distinct glass treatments that generate further visual interest.
A new five-story parking structure offers space for 700 vehicles. Along with outdoor terraces and an adjacent public park, the Breithaupt Block’s 300,000 square feet of leasable space proudly represents the future of the region while building on its past.
